Inaugurated in January 2013, it is Ovar’s newest and most emblematic green space.
Located in the heart of the city, it represents a milestone in the enrichment of the municipality’s environmental heritage.
Designed by Sidónio Pardal, the Ovar Urban Park extends over an area of 7.5 hectares.
In line with the parks of the romantic tradition, it has the river Cáster as its centrepiece and is made up of open, grassy and wooded spaces that allow for recreational, physical and sporting activities. It has 10 access gates, several bridges and footpaths.
